We are Taylor Children's Preschool
We are located in the heart of Sebastopol, across from Safeway.
We are a year-round preschool Center that teaches developmentally appropriate fun activities. We are special because we have daily outdoor picnics in our garden area and occasional field trips to our local parks and walking paths. We also have a great variety of activities including art, music, science, gardening, pre-math and pre-reading opportunities, as well as gymnastics on Thursdays. We also have a great variety of small animals like turtles, fish, hermit crabs, birds, frogs and our school dog, Chester.

Welcome to Taylor Children's Preschool in Sebastopol. Our program objective is to
provide a safe, interesting and loving environment for your child(ren). Our staff are
highly trained, educated and experienced teachers and are committed to providing a
high quality learning program which will supports your ideas as parents. We like to
think of ourselves as an extension of your family. In our program, parents and staff
are partners working together to provide a warm, loving safe and healthy environ-
ment that will enable children to develop to their fullest potential.
The development of a child is a complex one in which his/her in-born characteristics and environment continuously influence one another. Normal maturation takes place in predictable steps. This maturation occurs as a child reaches successively higher and more complex levels of development. Each child shares a certain characteristic with all others, but is also unique. The childs individuality is determined by both inherited and environment traits. A most effective environment influence on children comes from those who care for them and who are able to interpret their needs.
